JIM FERRYMANOCSD Director and Past OCSD Chair Jim Ferryman, past Chair of the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) Board of Directors has served as a Director since 1993. He was elected Chair of the 25-member board of directors in June 2006 and served till July 2008. Before his appointment as Chair, Ferryman served as chairman of the Operations, Maintenance and Technical Services Committee. He also served as the Vice Chair of the Groundwater Replenishment System Steering Committee (2008-2010). Director Ferryman sits as President of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District (CMSD) and has represented its citizens since 1988. Director Ferryman is actively involved in the community.He is a past recipient of the "Man of the Year" award given by the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce where he served as President and is a current member of the Board of Directors. He is also a former President of the Child Guidance Center of Orange County where he was awarded the "Guardian Angel" award. In addition, Director Ferryman is the current Secretary of the Costa Mesa High School Foundation, served as President of the Newport-Mesa Unified School District and as Vice President of the Housing and Community Development Advisory.
